Liability for Loss, Theft, and Damage
The renter is liable for rental items that are lost, stolen, or damaged due to improper use or gross negligence. Unless appropriate insurance has been purchased, the renter is responsible for the costs of repair or replacement.
Return of Rental Equipment
Rental equipment must be returned by the end of the agreed rental period at the latest.
Return times:
Monday through Friday: until 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: until 4:30 p.m.
Half-Day Rental The half-day rental begins at 2:00 p.m. and is valid until closing time on the same day.

Handover of the Rental Property
The rental item will be released only after full payment of the rental fee has been made at the rental shop.
The customer is required to inspect the rental item immediately upon receipt for any visible defects or damage. If any defects found cannot be repaired or if an equivalent replacement cannot be provided, the customer has the right to cancel the rental agreement.
The rental item must be used with care, in accordance with its intended purpose, and for its intended use. Technical settings on the rental item must not be altered without authorization.
Defects discovered later
Any defects or faults discovered during the rental period that cannot be repaired by the tenant must be reported to the landlord immediately. Failure to report such issues may result in liability for any resulting damage or consequential damages.
Disclosure to third parties
The transfer, lending, or subletting of the rental property to third parties is not permitted without the express consent of the landlord.
Duty of Care and Theft
The customer is required to treat the rental item with care at all times and to take appropriate measures to protect it against theft.
Unless additional insurance has been purchased, there is no coverage for theft. In the event of loss or theft, the customer is generally liable for the current market value of the rental item.
Cancellation and early return
In the event of illness or injury during the rental period, the rent already paid will be refunded on a pro-rata basis for the remaining rental period, provided that the rental item is returned immediately.
Return of the Rental Item
The rental item must be returned by the agreed-upon date at the latest.
Return times:
Monday through Friday: until 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: until 4:30 p.m.
Late returns may be subject to additional charges.
The landlord will inspect the rental property for visible damage and defects when it is returned.
Normal wear and tear resulting from intended use is not considered damage. The customer is liable for any unusual damage or damage resulting from improper use or gross negligence.
Theft, loss, and damage
The customer is liable for lost, stolen, or damaged rental items resulting from gross negligence. In the event of loss or theft, the current market value of the rental item will be charged. Repair costs for damage caused by improper use are the responsibility of the customer.
Prices and Payment
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include all applicable taxes.
Payment must be made exclusively in Swiss francs (CHF) directly in the store.

The half-day rental begins at 2:00 p.m. and ends at closing time on the same day.
Disclaimer
The customer uses the rental equipment at their own risk.
The lessor is liable, within the limits of the law, for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty on the part of the lessor. Any further liability, in particular for accidents, personal injury, property damage, or financial loss arising in connection with the use of the rental equipment, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
The customer is required to inspect the rental equipment for obvious defects before use and to report any complaints immediately. If the rental equipment is used despite visible defects, the customer does so at their own risk.
The customer is solely responsible for using the rented equipment in a manner appropriate to their skill level, current weather and terrain conditions, and applicable safety regulations.
